PL15型调频振动式筛浆机（萨默维尔型振动筛，somerville-type screening），是用于筛分浆料中的杂质，测定纸浆中的碎片等杂质的含量，在制浆造纸实验室中使用该筛浆机，可减少纸浆悬浮液中不符合工艺要求的杂质数量，得到洁净的良浆。该机是尺寸为270×320的平板式振动筛浆机，可选配不同规格缝隙的筛板，它是将打好的纸浆，采用振动式真空抽吸作用，对纸浆纤维进行筛选。同时该机还可作为平筛仪使用。
筛分的目的是分离机械浆中的碎片等杂质, 和纸浆再生纤维中大的粘胶物, 塑料, 泥沙,铁屑和片状物，然后再进行检查和量化。
PL15型调频振动式筛浆机是采用调速减速机通过连接轴带动凸轮，上下振动底板，从而使浆料产生高频振动，合格的浆料通过筛缝，不合格的纤维和渣料留在筛板上。
体积小，振动频率可调，筛板拆卸简单，操作方便，可根据浆料选择不同的频率，以达到最佳效果，为生产提供最可靠的实验数据。
